The present invention relates to a crosslinked microgel-containing thermosetting plastic composition, a method for manufacturing the same, and uses thereof for manufacturing shaped articles and sheath. The purpose of the present invention is improving mechanical properties of a thermosetting plastic composition, such as impulse strength and coefficient of expansion at failure point, while maintaining shore hardness. Therefore, provided in the present invention is a thermosetting plastic composition which contains at least one thermosetting plastic material (A), and at least one crosslinked microgels (B) having average primary particle diameter of 5-500 nm.
