The present invention provides a surface protective film for a transparent conductive film and a transparent conductive film using the same. The surface of the same adhered on a surface of an adhesive layer of the surface protective film is flat, and the same has excellent handling properties even when adhered on the transparent conductive film. When the transparent conductive film is produced and processed, the defective appearance of the same caused by the surface protective film can be alleviated. The surface protective film (5) for the transparent conductive film used by being adhered on a surface of the transparent conductive film having a transparent conductive film formed on the other surface of a base material is re-wound from a roll body. An adhesive layer (2) is laminated on one surface of a base film (1) having flexibility. A peeled film (3) is laminated on a surface adhered on the surface of the corresponding adhesive layer (2) to interpose the peeled surface thereof. The thickness of the peeled film (3) is 50-250 μm, and the stiffness of the peeled film (3) at 40°C is 0.30-40 mN.
