Summary:The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of a porous silicon based negative electrode active material, a negative electrode active material and a lithium secondary battery including the same. The manufacturing method of a porous silicon based negative electrode active material in the present invention comprises the steps of mixing porous silica (SiO_2) with aluminum powders; treating the same with heat; and turning some or entire porous silica into porous silicon (Si) by reducing oxygen while turning some or entire aluminum powders into aluminum oxide by oxidizing.
