Summary:The present invention aims to provide an embroidering machine which can simplify a thread pathway of a head of the embroidering machine. The embroidering machine includes: an embroidering needle in which an upper thread (28) is inserted; and a thread take-up lever (22) which vertically moves to take up the upper thread (28). The thread take-up lever (22) includes a pressurizing means (a torsion spring (22c)) which imposes pressure on the upper thread (28) to take up the upper thread (28), and takes up the upper thread (28) by upward movements and pressure of the pressurizing means (the torsion spring (22c)).
