Summary: | The present invention relates to a protein marker for diagnosing and screening pancreatic cancer and a use thereof. More specifically, it is confirmed that mRNA and protein expressions of CTHRC1 are increased in a sample from a pancreatic cancer patient and the cancer incidence and metastasis are increased or inhibited in mice injected with a cell line in which CTHRC1 is overexpressed or knocked down. respectively. In addition, it is confirmed that the CTHRC1 overexpression or knockdown increases or inhibits cell migration, adhesion, and expressions of Src-FAK signal and Rac 1 by establishing the cell line so as to overexpress or knock down CTHRC1. Therefore, the present invention can be used for a composition and kit for diagnoSing pancreatic cancer, a diagnosing method, an active material screening method, and a composition for treatment of pancreatic cancer and inhibition of metastasis. |
