Summary:The present invention relates to a method of cutting a corrugated tube (1) including windings (11, 12, 13, 14) of a metallic band (2) connected to each other. In a method of cutting a corrugated tube (1) wherein the corrugated tube (1) is welded in a predetermined axial region (10) and is cut at a radial surface (6) inside the region (10), the corrugated tube (1) is axially pressed in the region (10) before being welded, such that the windings (11, 12, 13, 14) closely contact each other, and welding is performed in accordance with the number of predetermined windings (11, 12, 13, 14) in the region (10), welding energy for welding the windings (11, 12, 13, 14) is introduced through the region (10) of the corrugated tube (1). The present invention also relates to a corrugated tube (1) manufactured corresponding to the same and an apparatus for manufacturing the corrugated tube.
