Summary:The present invention provides a method for producing a cationic denatured cellulose, wherein the method comprises the steps of; preparing a cationic cellulose; and denaturing the cationic cellulose through a polymer having a phosphorylcholine-based group and a silane group. The cationic denatured cellulose according to the present invention is denatured through a polymer having a phosphorylcholine-based group and a silane group without using a cross-linking agent such as glyoxal and boron. Accordingly, water solubility problems can be solved, and improved moisturizing properties and excellent biocompatibility can be exhibited compared to existing cationic cellulose compounds. Consequently, a hair and skin care composition including the same can also have improved moisturizing properties and protect damaged skin and damaged hair.
