The sole structure comprises a fluid-filled chamber including a first surface opposing the upper, a second surface formed on an opposite side of the fluid-filled chamber than the first surface, and a sidewall surface extending between and connecting the first surface and the second surface. The sole structure further comprises a reinforcement member extending around a portion of a periphery of the fluid-filled chamber and being formed from a material having a greater modulus of elasticity than a material forming the fluid-filled chamber.
