Summary: | The present invention is to provide a CO2 heat pump type water heater which includes an evaporator capable of maximizing performance according to heating capacity. In the CO2 heat pump type water heater, the evaporator (103) is a cross fin tube type evaporator which exchanges heat between air and refrigerant by fixing fin groups (3), which are heating surfaces of an air side, and evaporator refrigerant flow channel groups, which have a plurality of evaporator refrigerant flow channels (4) arranged in the perpendicular direction to an air flow, to penetrate at approximately right angles. The evaporator (103) satisfies the following formula (1): P<=64/33×Q...(1), wherein the inner diameter of the evaporator refrigerant flow channel (4) is 4.3mm to 4.9mm, water heating capacity of the CO2 heat pump type water heater is Q and the number of branches of the evaporator refrigerant flow channels (4) is P. |
