Summary: | The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing highly conductive PAN/Pitch composite fibers, by which electrodes with high electrical conductivity and an increased capacity can be manufactured via pyrolytic carbon doping and surface-selective graphitization on the surface of PAN or Pitch-based fibers; and to highly conductive PAN/Pitch carbon composite fibers manufactured thereby. The method for manufacturing highly conductive PAN/Pitch carbon composite fibers according to the present invention comprises the steps of 1) manufacturing a raw solution by dissolving acrylonitrile; 2) manufacturing carbon nanofibers by spinning the raw solution; 3) treating the carbon nanofibers with acid; 4) coating the carbon nanofibers, which has been treated with acid, with carbon via pyrolysis; and 5) graphitizing the carbon-coated carbon nanofibers. |
