Summary: | The present invention relates to a dynamic electronic chart display and information system using an object-relational database and a method for providing a dynamic electronic navigational chart. The method for providing a dynamic electronic navigational chart according to the present invention comprises a step of modeling a file-structural electronic navigational chart to an object-relational database, storing the modeled structure in the execution path of the electronic chart display and information system, and then outputting the electronic navigational chart according to the information of the database. The present invention can easily reflect the dynamic variation of marine environments to the electronic navigational chart; can provide an convenience for data management and maintenance, and can read out and output the information on the electronic navigational chart without a system setting process or a command process in the electronic chart display and information system and other electronic chart display and information systems. |
