Provided are a rectangular moving contact member and a switch device using the moving contact member capable of securing a manipulation lifespan even when the moving contact member is miniaturized. The moving contact member (1) includes a moving contact part (1a) curved in an arch shape and enabled to perform reverse operation by pressurizing manipulation, a mutual contact part (1c) placed on both sides of the moving contact part (1a) and regularly touching a placement surface (IF), and a connecting part (1d) connecting both ends of the moving contact part (1a) and the mutual contact part (1c). In the moving contact part (1a), there is a pair of curving parts (1e) having an arch-shaped top part (1h) between the parts. And the switch device includes the moving contact member (1), a first fixing contact touching the moving contact part (1a) of the moving contact member (1), a second fixing contact touching the mutual contact part (1c) of the moving contact member (1), and a support frame in which the first and second fixing contacts are installed.
