The present invention relates to a urine inspection method and a related device. The urine inspection method includes: a step (510) of photographing urine straps (20, 30) including at least one inspection region (22-26; 32-36) having a color which changes when the inspection region makes contact with urine so various inspection results are recognized according to the changed color, and reference regions (27, 37) to provide references of a color value of the inspection regions; a step (530) of distinguishing the reference regions from the inspection regions based on the photographed image; a step (540) compensating the color value of the inspection regions using the color value of the reference regions; and a step (550) of calculating a urine inspection result based on the compensated color value of the inspection region. Since urine may be automatically inspected by only photographing the urine straps in an opened indoor or outdoor environment, a general person who does not have professional knowledge may rapidly, easily, and accurately confirm the urine inspection result. The device may be provided with cheap manufacturing costs.
