Summary:The present invention relates to a housing for a pouch cell and a pouch cell unit having the housing. The housing receives a pouch cell and connects the pouch cell to an external circuit. The housing includes: a housing body which includes a body receiving space which receives the pouch cell, two tap receiving spaces, and a sub tap insertion part which is located in the side of each tap receiving space and is opened to the outside; and a pair of sub taps which is inserted into the sub tap insertion parts, respectively, and is located in a position corresponding to the anode tap and cathode tap of the pouch cell when the pouch cell is mounted.
