The purpose of the present invention is to provide a hardening composition by which a hardening layer having excellent abrasion resistance and adhering properties and including outgas controlled can be produced. The present invention relates to a hardening composition containing a compound (I) represented by Chemical Formula (1). In Chemical Formula (1), R^1 and R^2 are independently groups represented by Chemical Formula (i) or groups represented by Chemical Formula (ii). R^3 and R^4 are independently hydrogen atoms or methyl groups. In Chemical Formulas (i) and (ii), R^5a is a C2 to 6 alkandiyl group. m is an integer of 0 to 20. When both R^1 and R^2 are represented by Chemical Formula (i), the sum of m is 1 or more. R^5b is a C1 to 14 alkandiyl group. n is an integer of 1 to 10. It is preferable that a compound (II) which is different from the compound (I) and has a polymerizable group is further contained.
