More Information
Summary:The present invention relates to a coupling especially, to a coupling for a fluid line of vehicles. The coupling includes a coupling body and a retainer. The coupling body includes a penetration bore extended from an end part of a male member receptor thereof and functionally accommodates the male member extended toward the penetration bore through an opening of the coupling body while being mounted on it. The retainer includes a cross bar on which two separate retainer legs are attached and at least one locking arm is attached on the cross bar between the retainer legs. The retainer is movably mounted on the coupling body in a radius direction of the penetration bore. One end part of the retainer legs is attached on a blocking surface of the coupling body blocking the movement of the retainer to the locking location when the male member is not inserted into the coupling body and is not completely inserted into the coupling body. The cross bar is protruding toward the outside of the coupling body at the start location. At least one of the end part of the retainer legs is arranged on the receptacle slot on the coupling body when the male member is functionally accommodated in the coupling body and the retainer is shifted and mounted to the locking location. The cross bar is basically arranged in the cross bar receptacle on the coupling body at the locking location. The locking arm includes a locking element. The locking element intercommunicates with the locking element on the coupling body fixating the retainer on the coupling body at the start location.
