The present invention relates to a frame structure for a foldable type bed used as a bed and a sofa. The frame structure for a foldable type bed can be easily converted from a bed to a sofa or from a sofa to a bed and can extend the size of the bed converted when unfolding the frame. The frame structure for a foldable type bed comprises: a main frame where multiple legs are combined with the lower part and a mattress is installed in the upper part; an auxiliary frame which is combined with the main frame in order to rotate and rotates back and forth centered on the main frame, and where the mattress is installed in order to be positioned in parallel with the front side of the main frame and be positioned to stand at one side of the upper part of the main frame; a supporting frame whose both ends are combined with both side units of the main frame and both side units of the auxiliary frame to be rotated, in order to form the side unit of a sofa when the auxiliary frame stands on the main frame or to play a role of the leg of a bed when the main frame and the auxiliary frame are in parallel; and link units which are combined with both side units of the main frame and the both side units of the auxiliary frame to be rotated in order to connect the main frame and the auxiliary frame and to rotate the auxiliary frame on the main frame.
