Summary: | The present invention relates to a method for preparing a water-soluble nanocrystal of which the surface is capped with a water-soluble polymer substituted with an amino group or a carboxyl group, and to a nanophosphor composed of the water-soluble nanocrystal. A method for preparing a water-soluble polymer capped nanocrystal and a water-soluble nanophosphor composed of the water-soluble nanocrystal are provided. The method comprises the steps of: adding a zinc (Zn) precursor solution to a polymer solution to prepare a zinc-polymer mixture solution; and adding a manganese (Mn) precursor and sodium sulfide (Na2S) mixture solution to the prepared zinc-polymer mixture solution for reaction. The water-soluble polymer capped ZnS:Mn nanocrystal has the surface capped with the polymer to be reformed to effectively prevent Zn from being released, thereby exhibiting no toxicity. Further, the method for preparing a water-soluble polymer capped nanocrystal uses water (distilled water) as a solvent and prepares a water-soluble nanocrystal through a simple mixing reaction, thereby enabling easy preparation and being eco-friendly. |
