The apparatus for parallel processing includes: a plurality of computation units which compute a job constituting a plurality of tasks of a process; and a distribution unit which distributes the job to the computation units based on the operational characteristics of the job. The computation units include a first computation unit which processes a job through control operations and a second computation unit which processes a job through mass operations.
