Summary: | The present invention relates to a cargo tank of an extremely low temperature substance carrier, comprising: a primary barrier including a primary main panel; a secondary barrier including a secondary main panel; a primary insulation wall which is installed between the primary barrier and the secondary barrier and includes an insulation plate integrated with an upper glassfiber complex material; and a secondary insulation wall which is installed between the secondary barrier and a hull shell and includes an insulation plate integrated with a lower glassfiber complex material, wherein the upper and lower glassfiber complex materials are arranged in a shape that several glassfiber complex material plates are erected in the thickness direction of the primary insulation wall or the secondary insulation wall, one of the upper and lower glassfiber complex materials has a lattice structure, and the other has a parallel structure. The cargo tank of an extremely low temperature substance carrier according to the present invention is capable of: preventing, in advance, cracks due to shrinkage by arranging first cargo tank walls having primary wrinkle panels at a certain interval; preventing defects in the cargo tank by easily absorbing an impact due to a sloshing phenomenon of liquefied gas; preventing damage due to shrinkage by forming auxiliary wrinkles on a primary barrier of each of first, second and third cargo tank walls; more easily absorbing impact due to a sloshing phenomenon of liquefied gas; and selectively applying the first to third cargo tank walls having different types of structures to each part of the cargo tank in which different sloshing phenomena are shown, thereby improving reliability of the cargo tank. |
