According to an embodiment of the present invention, an insulation support for a welding rod comprises: a cylindrical main body; a hung head part arranged in the upper part of the main body; and a penetration hole penetrating the center of the hung head part and the main body to receive a welding rod. According to the embodiments of the present invention, the insulation support for a welding rod can maintain insulation while maintaining a gap between the welding rod and an object to be welded except a welded part in welding, and can maintain an initial shape and insulation performance even in high temperature environments. The present invention can conveniently weld the object and can obtain uniform and accurate welding quality since a user does not need to hold a welding machine having the welding rod with hands by fixing the position of the welding rod fitted in the insulation support with respect to the insulation support for a welding rod and the position of the insulation support for a welding rod with respect to the object to be welded.
