Summary:The present invention relates to a suspension thrust bearing (1) including at least one rolling bearing (7) forming an axial thrust bearing arranged on a lower cap (6). The lower cap (6) includes: a circular rolling bearing part (8a) for a spring (2); a tubular part (8d) including a bore (8e) into which a shock absorber bump stop (4) is inserted; and a body (8) which has an axial contact surface (8h) formed on the lower part of the bore (8e) of the tubular part (8d) where the shock absorber bump stop (4) generates a radial force (F2) when deformed. The tubular part (8d) includes a reinforcing insert (10) located at the height of the axial contact surface (8h).
