Summary:The present invention is to provide a shovel which can provide a driver with information on gas mileage of an engine, even if the driver does not manipulate a display device in the middle of shovel operation. A display monitor is installed in a driving room of the shovel. The shovel comprises: a main pump (14) generating oil pressure; an engine (11) operating the main pump; and a display control part (70) creating display information to show on a display monitor (42) based on the information communicated with the engine, and presenting the created display information on the display monitor. The display control part (70) presents a graph showing gas mileage of the engine (11) as time passes and an operational work mode of the shovel corresponding to calculated time of the gas mileage on one display screen, the display monitor (42), at the same time.
