Summary:Blood glucose concentration determination which involves determining the hematocrit of the blood sample and using this to derive a specific sampling time, either via a look-up table or via a function of the hematocrit. The function which is used to determine the specific sampling time has a +/-10% degree of flexibility in its parameters. A similar level of flexibility is present in each of the expressions used to determine the glucose concentration. Alternatively, a current output at the specific sampling time is used to determine the glucose concentration. In this manner glucose concentration can be determined with greater accuracy
