Summary:A system for obtaining space-time information from multimedia content includes a multimedia content management unit which renders multimedia content and extracts the multimedia content on a frame-by-frame basis, a metadata management unit which manages the metadata of the multimedia content, a time series information obtaining unit which obtains a photographing date, time, seasons, and weather information by using the information stored in the metadata of the multimedia content, and a space information obtaining unit which obtains the angle, direction, and location information of a camera by using the frame information of the multimedia content. The multimedia content can be variously used for an image synthesis, augmented reality, and an image search because the time and space information of the multimedia content can be obtained.
