Summary:The present invention relates to a scroll compressor having a fixing scroll supporting means. According to an aspect of the present invention, the scroll compressor includes a casing; a main frame fixed and installed inside the casing; a circling scroll circling while being supported by an upper surface of the main frame; a fixing scroll supported by the main frame to be movable in a vertical direction with respect to the circling scroll; a guiding means preventing the axial rotation of the fixing scroll and guiding the vertical movement; and a movement restricting means coming in contact with the fixing scroll when the fixing scroll moves upward to restrict the upward moving distance and separated from the fixing scroll to be arranged at an inner wall of the casing.
