Summary:Disclosed is a device of adaptively estimating a channel in an orthogonal frequency division multiplexed (OFDM) system. An embodiment of the present invention comprises: a parameter estimation unit to estimate the parameters related to the channel; a control unit to generate a control signal by adaptively selecting any one channel environment of a plurality of the predetermined channel environment on the basis of the parameters; an initial channel estimation unit to estimate an initial channel based on the control signal; and a channel estimation unit to estimate the channel based on the control signal and the initial channel.
