Summary:The present invention relates to a universal power supplying apparatus which can be used for several types of devices having various voltage and current levels of a driving power, and a universal power supplying method. Suggested is a universal power supplying apparatus which includes a power supplying part which changes an input power into a driving power source having a predetermined voltage level and supplies the same; a power recognition part which outputs a recognition voltage of a predetermined voltage level to an output terminal for outputting power to recognize the connection of devices, and controls the power output of the power supplying part; and a detection part which provides a detection voltage of a predetermined voltage level to the output terminal.
