Summary:The present invention relates to a system for selecting a career by converting talent potential into an index and a method for the same. The system comprises the following: a feature input unit (100) for receiving inputted features of ″talent potentials″ according to the face, body type, clothing preference, drawing, penmanship, voice, behavior, hobby, or character, and then generating ″feature input information,″; an attribute granting unit (200) for granting, as attribute values of the ″talent potentials,″ attribute values of ″talent potential samples″ having a value within a feature range of the ″talent potential samples″ that have been previously categorized according to southern or northern features saved on a talent potential DB (210), from among features of the ″talent potentials″ included in the ″feature input information″; a talent conversion unit (300) for receiving attribute values applied to each of the talent potentials and generating ″talent attribute index information″ by matching the attribute values of the ″talent potentials″ to index values included in ″talent conversion data″ previously saved in a talent conversion DB (310); and a career matching unit (400) for receiving the applied ″talent attribute index information″ and indexing job information belonging to a group similar to the index of the ″talent attribute index information″ from among a plurality of pieces of job information previously saved in a job DB (410). According to the present invention, the features of talent potentials are categorized, attribute values corresponding to each of the categorized talent potentials are converted into indexes, the talent potentials selected by individuals are converted into indexes, and the indexed values are matched, thereby providing the advantages of early discovering of an individual′s talent and providing a guideline for selecting a career.
