The present invention relates to a film-forming pharmaceutical composition and a method for producing the same, wherein the film-forming pharmaceutical composition includes physiological or pharmacological active ingredients, and a film is formed when the same is applied on the surface of wounds or the like. The film-forming pharmaceutical composition according to the present invention has effects in reinforcing adhesion onto the wounds by forming a film directly on the wounds, preventing the infection of the surface of the wounds because the produced thin hydrophilic film protects the surface of the wounds, rapidly treating the wounds by preserving physiological active ingredients which are useful for wound treatment on the surface of the wounds, and continuously transferring drugs onto the surface of the wounds by means of the produced film. Accordingly, the composition according to the present invention has not only excellent wound treatment effects but also excellent usability so that the composition is not stained on clothes, bandages, or the like. The composition can effectively replace gel or ointment forms which are conventional means for transferring physiological active ingredients.
