The present invention relates to an air conditioner comprising multiple compressors; multiple oil level sensors installed in the respective compressors, and sensing oil levels in the respective compressors; multiple oil separators connected to the respective compressors, and separating oil from an oil-mixed refrigerant discharged from the respective compressors; multiple oil recovery pipes connecting the compressors and the oil separators respectively; a bypass pipe connecting the oil recovery pipes; an electronic expansion valve installed on at least one of the oil recovery pipes; and a control part controlling the opening degrees of the electronic expansion valves according to the oil levels in the respective compressors. According to the present invention, the oil levels in the respective compressors can be maintained equally.
