The present invention relates to a solar cell and a method for manufacturing the same. An embodiment of the method for manufacturing a solar cell according to the present invention comprises the steps of: forming an emitter part containing second conductive type impurities on the back of a semiconductor substrate; forming a protective film paste containing first conductive type impurities on the emitter part; forming a back electric field part containing first conductive type impurities on a part of the emitter part by selectively heat-treating a part of the protective film; forming multiple openings on a part of the protective film paste located on the emitter part and the back electric field part to form the protective film; forming a first electrode connected with the emitter part; and forming a second electrode connected with the back electric field part.
