Summary:The present invention relates to a semiconductor memory device, and more specifically, to technology for preventing malfunction of the semiconductor memory device including a fuse array. The semiconductor memory device includes: a fuse array in which address information on a defective cell is stored; a boot-up control unit activating and outputting a boot-up signal according to a power up signal and deactivating and outputting the boot-up signal according to a count completion signal; and a control unit generating a driving signal for reading the address information according to the boot-up signal, wherein the read operation is completed by deactivating the boot-up signal regardless of the count completion signal when a reset signal is activated.
