Summary:The present invention relates to a cooking apparatus including a main body which has a cooking chamber; and a steam supply apparatus for generating and supplying steam to the cooking chamber. The steam supply apparatus includes a water storing unit for storing water; a steam generator which receives water from the water storing unit and generates steam; a water supply pipe which transfers the water in the water storing unit to the steam generator; and a water collecting pipe which transfers the residual water from the steam generator to the water storing unit so as to collect the residual water from the steam generator, thereby increasing the period of water input.
