Summary:An apparatus for providing a multi-view video using a two-dimensional display is disclosed. The apparatus for providing a multi-view video includes: a selection unit which selects a multi-view video file to be outputted through a two-dimensional display, selects at least one of output time and viewpoint from the selected multi-view video file, and outputs the multi-view video file to the two-dimensional display; and a real-time multi-view synthesis unit which performs multi-view synthesis of the selected multi-view video file, when the multi-view synthesis of the selected multi-view video file is required, but performs the multi-view synthesis, based on the at least one of the time and the viewpoint, and provides the two-dimensional display with a synthesized multi-view video.
