Summary:[Assignment] A graduated guide pin for medical treatment is obtained to select an optical screw length for joining fracture parts. [Solution] A guide pin (10) assorts a basic material (11) including radiolucent metal with a predetermined interval. A circumference sticking material (12) including a non-radiolucent metal in an alternate section is mounted in the guide pin. The basic material (11) includes metal such as titanium and titanium alloy in which radiation is easily penetrated. The circumference sticking material (12) includes metal such as platinum, iridium, tungsten, tantalum, gold, or alloy in which the radiation is difficult to be penetrated. The guide pin (10) alternately displays a dark part with the circumference sticking material and a light part with the basic material (11) in an X-ray image obtained by X-ray penetration or X-ray photographing. The thickness of a bone (B) including fracture parts (A) is measured by counting the gradation including light and shade within the bone (B).
