Summary:Disclosed in the present invention is a method for determining the country of origin of a grain using a transmission Raman spectroscopy, which comprises as follows: a step of radiating light at a specific wavelength emitted from a light source to a sample of a grain; and a step of detecting the light penetrating the grain; a step of determining whether or not the grain is from Korea, by comparing a transmission spectrum at a specific band among the spectrums of the detected light with a class value predicted from the standard transmission spectrum of a domestic grain and a class value predicted from the standard transmission spectrum of a foreign grain. Using the transmission Raman spectroscopy, the chemical composition of the core of a sample can be nondestructively analyzed so that the costs and determination hours can be significantly reduced and accurate determination can be conducted, compared with the conventional destructive analysis method and the scattering spectroscopy.
