Summary:The present invention provides an organic electroluminescent device and a manufacturing method thereof. The organic electroluminescent device includes: a first substrate on which a display region with a plurality of pixel regions is defined; a first electrode which is formed at each pixel region; a bank which surrounds each pixel region by overlapping with the edge of the first electrode and is formed with a dual layer of a top layer with a hydrophobic property and a bottom layer with a hydrophilic property; an organic light emitting layer which is formed on the upper side of the first electrode in the bank; and a second electrode which is formed on the front of the display region on the upper side of the organic light emitting layer.
