Tool magazine (21) for tools (15) of a machine tool (3) processing a structure, particularly, a metal sheet (2) includes a magazine unit (12) near a station and a magazine unit (22) separated from the station. The magazine unit (22) separated from the station has a permanent tool carrier (23) and a temporarily tool carrier (27). The permanent tool carrier (23) may permanently access with respect to a tool dealing device (24). The temporarily tool carrier (27) may temporarily access with respect to the same tool dealing device (24), except the tool carrier (23). A mechanical arrangement (1) processing the structure, particularly, the metal sheet (2) includes a machine tool (3) having a process station (8) and the tool magazine (21). In order to administer the tools (15) in the mechanical arrangement (1), the tools (15) are transmitted between the magazine unit (12) near the station and the permanent tool carrier (23) of the magazine unit (22) separated from the station, and/or between the magazine unit (12) near the station and the temporarily tool carrier (27) of the magazine unit (22) separated from the station, and/or between the permanent tool carrier (23) of the magazine unit (22) separated from the station and the temporarily tool carrier (27) of the magazine unit (22) separated from the station.
