Summary:The present invention relates to a bulb plate for a ship and an installation method thereof. The present invention includes a vertical part vertically installed on a deck of a ship; and a bulb part protruding from one side of the top of the vertical part. A first slot is formed on the vertical part and the bulb part to allow a lateral frame to be perpendicularly joined to the vertical part and the bulb part. The bulb plate for a ship and the installation method thereof according to the present invention enable a bulb plate and the lateral frame to be firmly installed through fillet welding as the bulb plate has the first slot and the lateral frame has a second slot to be joined together.
