Summary:The present invention relates to a scanning device for performing an ultrasonic wave nondestructive inspection on a tube. The scanning device includes a housing having a bottom surface recessively curved by cavities in which a waveguide assembly and an encoder assembly are accommodated. The waveguide assembly includes a waveguide and a probe communicating to each other, the waveguide includes at least one surface corresponding to the outer surface of the tube and allows an ultrasonic signal generated by the probe to be transmitted into the tube, and the encoder assembly includes a spring load wheel that is in contact with the tube and provides a signal that indicates a position on the tube corresponding to the position of the probe while the scanning device is moved along an axis in the longitudinal direction of the tube.
