Summary: | The present invention relates to a malfunction-detecting module of a diaphragm-driven air pump for a vessel and a method for operating the same. Two pumps are arranged between an open drain tank and a closed drain tank. A first unit supplies driving air to a first pump, which is one of the two pumps that operates regularly. A second unit compares the discharge pressure of the first pump with the driving air pressure, in order to immediately stop the operation of the first pump and operate a second pump, when a first diaphragm of the first pump is damaged, thereby facilitating maintenance while at the same time, preventing an accident in advance. |
