Summary: | The cell has a gas area arranged between plate elements e.g. bipolar plate and anode, and comprising a gas inlet and a gas outlet, where a main flow direction (40) of flow medium i.e. operating gas, is formed between the inlet and outlet. One of the elements has protrusions (14) for supporting the element on the other element in a regular grid structure (24). Gas channels (28, 30, 32) passing through the gas area runs between the elements. Flow channel directions of the respective channels enclose an angle (34) differing from zero degrees relative to the main flow direction. |
