Summary:The present invention relates to a method for sharing information through communications between vehicles, which comprises the following steps. An audio video navigation (AVN) of a master vehicle performs communications connection with an AVN of a slave vehicle. The AVN of the master vehicle shares global positioning system (GPS) information with the AVN of the slave vehicle. And the AVN of the master vehicle displays GPS information on the slave vehicle on a navigation. According to the present invention, the method enables a preceding vehicle to move to a destination together with an accompanied vehicle, by sharing information on the position and the direction change of the preceding vehicle in case a plurality of vehicles move to an identical destination.
