The present invention relates to a refrigerator comprising a vegetable box, including: a refrigerator main body partitioned into a freezer room and a refrigerating room; a refrigerator door for controlling to open and close the freezer room and the refrigerating room; a vegetable storage compartment formed in the refrigerating room of the refrigerator main body; and a vegetable box installed in the vegetable storage compartment. The vegetable box includes a slide door which can move up and down in order to take out vegetables or fruits stored in the inside without opening the refrigerator door completely or withdrawing the vegetable storage compartment. Therefore, a user can take out the vegetables or fruits stored in the inside only by lifting up the slide door without taking out the vegetable box from the vegetable storage compartment, and also can withdraw the content easily under the state that the refrigerator door is open in a fixed angle, without opening the refrigerator door completely.
