Summary:The present invention relates to a deodorant having deodorizing effects by including epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) into an alpha-cyclodextrin (alpha-CD)-type compound, and a composition comprising the same, and more particularly, to: deodorant having double deodorizing effects by having a clathrate wherein epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) is included in an alpha-cyclodextrin (alpha-CD)-type compound such as alpha-cyclodextrin (alpha-CD), hydroxypropyl-alpha-cyclodextrin (HP-alpha-CD), maltosyl-alpha-cyclodextrin (maltosyl-alpha-CD), methyl-alpha-cyclodextrin (methyl-alpha-CD) and the like, has antibacterial effects for tragomaschalia virus so as to absorb the smell generating body odors; and a deodorant composition comprising the same.
