The present invention relates to a backlight assembly equally emitting light. The backlight assembly according to an embodiment of the invention includes a light source part supplying light, a light guide plate guiding incident light from the light source part to a top surface, a reverse prism sheet formed on the light guide plate and having a prism-shaped bottom surface, and a sub film formed between the light guide plate and the reverse prism sheet. The light guide plate includes an incident light part receiving light from the light source part and a facing light part facing the incident light part and having a prism shape. The thickness of the facing light part is thicker than the incident light part's.
