Summary: | Embodiments provide bandwidth efficient mechanisms for delivering data to a receiver device via a wireless broadcast network such that data may be assembled in the receiver device for use by a local application. In the various embodiments, data files may be broadcast as content elements via the broadcast network using the FLUTE protocol during a FLUTE session. In an embodiment, the content elements may be broadcast according to a broadcast schedule that may identify a time at which the content elements will be broadcast and the broadcast schedule may be communicated in a file delivery table (FDT) transmitted during a FLUTE session. |
