Summary:The present invention relates to an apparatus for breaking icicles which comprises: a main body which equips with an inner space and wheels; a perpendicular bar which is arranged in one side of the main body; a cutter which is connected to the upper end part of the perpendicular bar; a breaking drum which is arranged in the inner space of the main body; and a chain which connects the breaking drum to the wheels. Therefore, basically icicle removal can be completed simply and rapidly by discharging crushed ice to outside after cutting the icicles in high places using a cutter and crushing the cut icicles using a breaking drum, and man-made disasters can be prevented in advance by collecting dropping icicles into the inner space of the main body.
