Summary: | A three-dimensional teleconferencing apparatus capable of eye contact and a method using the same are disclosed. According to the present invention, a three-dimensional teleconferencing apparatus capable of eye contact comprises: an image acquisition unit which controls cameras on a real time basis in consideration of a photographed image of a video conference participant, a subject, and an image corresponding to the other party of a video conference received through networks to acquire depth images and color images; a front face generator which generates a final depth image and a final color image corresponding to the front face of the participant for eye contact by using the depth images and the color images; and a three-dimensional image generator which generates a three-dimensional image corresponding to the other party and displays the three-dimensional image on a display device.
